Stare Misto (The Old Town)
The first confectionery café in Lutsk that employs people with Down syndrome. In addition to a cozy atmosphere and tasty treats, the café hosts various social and charity events in support of people with disabilities. As part of its social mission, namely inclusion of people with Down syndrome into public life and work, the enterprise provides advice to small and medium-sized businesses on the employment of people with disabilities.

EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIALIZATION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Thanks to the investment, the café managed to increase its oven capacity and its sales, helping it successfully expand into home delivery and weather the COVID-19 lockdowns. During one project year the enterprise increased total sales by more than 800%, and its clientele is estimated to be almost 2,500. At the same period the café has invested UAH 20,000 for the realization of its social objective, and hosted seven events to support people with disabilities.
