The Ukrainian Social Venture Fund invites German social start-ups, social enterprises, and impact-oriented companies to a six-day networking trip to Ukraine. This trip is initiated within the framework of the German Platform for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
As Ukraine undergoes rapid transformation, new opportunities for social entrepreneurship, impact investment, and sustainable development are emerging. This trip offers first-hand insights into Ukraine’s economic landscape, direct engagement with key stakeholders, and a chance to explore high-impact business opportunities in the country’s reconstruction efforts.
When: May 18–24, 2025
Location: Ivano-Frankivsk & Kyiv
What to expect?
Exploring the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ukraine
Direct meetings with start-up ecosystem representatives, investors, entrepreneurs, members of parliament, and government officials
Visits to innovation hubs, including Promprylad in Ivano-Frankivsk and the annual Kyiv Impact Entrepreneurs Meetup
Discussions on challenges and opportunities for social investment in Ukraine
Strategic networking sessions to foster partnerships
Applications should include:
A short motivation letter
Information about the company and its previous engagement in social and impact-driven projects focused on Ukraine.
Application deadline: April 1, 2025
Participant selection: After submitting an application, participants will be selected based on their applications. Between 10 and 15 spots are available for this trip.
Important information:
Travel, accommodation, insurance, and other expenses are NOT covered by the organizers
However, full logistical support and a fully curated program in Ukraine will be provided
